ENTRY PROCEDURES

 

  1. Option 1:

    Entry forms and payment may be sent by mail up to Jan. 20, 2012. See "Entry Fee" schedule.
    Make cheques payable to the Canadian Woodcarving Championship and mail to :

  1. NOTE: A $2.00 Rebate will be given at Registration. (General Competitions Only - Not for Youth).

    Option 2:

    E Mail - send detailed information, as you usually would if sending in an Entry Form, to
    CWC@HamiltonShows.com(no later than January 20, 2012).

    An Entry Form will then be completed and will require your signature, along with payment, at Registration.



    Option 3:

    Entry forms and payment at the CWC at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.
    Entry forms will be available if required.
    All cheques to be made payable to: Canadian Woodcarving Championship. See "Entry Fee"
    schedule.

  2. Registration:


    Entry forms, payment and carvings will be accepted at the CWC at the:

    Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum
    Hamilton International Airport
    9280 Airport Road
    Mount Hope, Ontario.
    From: 2:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2012
    & 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012

  3. No carvings will be accepted by mail

  4. Entries can be brought in by other than the actual carver provided the carver has filled in and signed the Entry Form. This "Courier" approach is encouraged. A Volunteer will assist the courier with registration. The carver's Entry Form will be eligible for the Registration Draw.

  5. Upon Registration a Claim Ticket will be issued and must be retained as a claim ticket for carvings and to claim Registration Prize if won.


    (The entry form will be used for the Registration Draw so all requested Information must be provided).

    No more than 2 carvings per category can be entered by the same person.

  6. Signature / Identification on the carving must be covered with tape prior to the judging.

  7. Carvings will remain on display for the duration of the show and MUST NOT be removed until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2012. (Pickup is between 5 pm and 5:30 pm. No one will be there if you come after 5:30 pm).

  8. Shipping containers will NOT be stored at the show.

  9. Each competitor is entitled to TWO (2) 1-Day Wood Show Passes.
    (suggest saving one to reclaim carvings)
