Wood Bending Demonstration

In this 45 minute seminar, Roger Foster of the Carlisle Canoe Co. (just north of Burlington) will demonstrate how to steam-bend both soft and hardwoods in making a canoe themed coffee table/ottoman, as well as some of the curved components for a child's sled.

Audience volunteers will be needed to assist in the bending, drilling and nailing of ribs onto a mold.

(The coffee table will be completed during the afternoon and offered as a door prize on one of the show days.) More on Roger Foster...
